Pretty Flower T-shirt Re-Do

I love making these fun flowers from T-shirt materials.  I've lost another shirt to the cause but I've gained this fabulous shirt I am so proud to wear.  And it took me 15 minutes tops!

I have these two drab old shirts from Old Navy.
I never really liked either of them.  The one is just so plain and the other never fit well.  So I got out my scissors and rotary cutter.  I cut the top of the second one.  The bottom is hopefully going to become a skirt for Annabelle.

I used the fabric from the top of the shirt to make the flowers.  I cut three strips.  I then used the same technique I learned from another blogger and used for these hair pins and made three flowers.  Then I got out my glue gun! I glued the three flowers to the first shirt and now I have an awesome new shirt! Check it out!

P.S. I had to wash this which I wasn't planning on doing but I'm a Mom and well it was a mess within an hour.  I wanted to wear it again so I thought I would give washing a try.  It did well in the wash.  I washed it on cold and didn't dry it.  It may need a little touch up with the glue but I'm excited I'll be able to wear it again.
