Fabric Flowers: What to do with them?

Fabric flowers are so much fun to make and they are so easy! I recently saw a great tutorial for them here and here
Here are some suggestions for what to do with fabric flowers and the possibilites are endless!

Hair Accessories for me! I wear these all the time.

Hair accessories for my little girl.  She looks so sweet in this!

Hot glue it to a shirt for a fun refashion! If you wondering: hot glue can be washed and dried.  I've washed and dried this shirt many times.

And my favorite way! Necklaces!

There are so many fun ways to use fabric flowers and I'm a little addicted to making them.  I recently went through some fabric scraps my Mom gave me and she apparently started cutting pieces for a quilt.  When I saw these:

I thought "I could make a ton of flowers with these!" I'd love to decorate a pair of plain flip flops with fabric flowers and I'm planning on a Mother's Day gift that would use some of these scraps.  I wonder if Mom would recognize any of this fabric?

  1. I love fabric flowers! I have so many sitting around waiting for me to do something with. I did not know that about hot glue. I am so going to have to try putting some on my clothes soon! (I don't sew, so the hot glue is an awesome idea for me.) Thanks for sharing!
