Glittered Easter Eggs Fail

I have seen glittered Easter eggs everywhere and I thought I would give it a try.  They turned out awful.  They are festive nonetheless and I had fun with Annabelle doing it. This is a major craft fail!

Things I would do differently next time:

1. Mix the glue with water and paint them on so the glitter is more evenly distributed.  I was in a hurry and just put Elmer's right on their to make strips of glitter and it didn't turn out great.

2. Perhaps wait until everyone is napping.  Although I am a firm believer of it being the process not the product when it comes to crafting with kids, this may have been a project better suited for mommy's quiet time.

3. Snacktime and glitter time do not mix! I was cleaning glitter off both my kids mouths!

Happy Easter!

  7. Hi..
I'm visiting from Follow Me Friday..although I'm a bit late,I'm here and have become your 90th follower, moving you a bit closer to that 100 mark. I'm a crafter as well,my problem is I work full time, try to visit a lot of blog..have 1 blog of my own,and share two with 2 other ladies, leaving me little time to craft. I have to remedy that, cause I miss it. Hope you come visit..and like my place as well..
Hope your Easter has been a lovely one..
