Mod Podge? What went wrong?

What did I do wrong?

This is the project I am working on this week but I ran into a little bit of trouble.  This is the first time I'm using Mod Podge and I had hoped for a nice smooth surface but I got a couple of ripples in it.

Doesn't matter too much because it will be covered up for the most part but I thought maybe someone could help me for the next time.

Any guesses as to what I am making?

  1. You may be using the Mod Podge too heavily. It can definitely wrinkle the paper if too much is used. A little really can go a long way with this stuff! You just need enough to be sticky. Can't wait to see what you're making!

  2. when i use modpodge, i take a rolling pin to the surface to eliminate the air bubbles. usually works!
Dont know what you're making but that paper sure is cute and i bet i will love the final result.
