Wine Cork Charm Tutorial

Here is the guest post I did for Blue Cricket Design.

Wine Cork Charm Tutorial by Julie @ Singing Three Little Birds

Make a wine cork charm for a friend or yourself.  I made this one for my Mom.  She loves wine and this cork is from one of her favorite wineries.  I thought it would be a perfect present for Mother's Day!

Materials Needed:
Wine Cork
Wire Cutters
Wire
Round Nose Pliers

Cut a strip of wire about a foot long and then bend the wire in half.

Push your wire through your cork using the hole the cork screw made when removing the cork from the wine bottle.  Use your cork screw and to make your hole bigger if necessary.

Make a loop using your round nose pliers at the bottom of your charm.

String a few beads at the top of your charm.

Make a loop at the top of your charm and then wrap your wire back around a few times.

Attach your charm to a ribbon and gift it to your favorite wine drinking friend!

Julie blogs at Singing Three Little Birds when she is not working as a full time children's librarian and being a mom to her two little ones. She enjoys making handmade jewelry, using her glue gun and learning to sew one little girl's dress at a time.  Come by and check out her latest project!

I'll be linking here this week.  Check them out!
