$30 Wardrobe Budget Challenge: New Skirt

$30 Budget Challenge: New Skirt
I had this fabric and elastic on hand so this cost me nothing to make.

I wish I had better pictures but I have been super busy these days.  I am really enjoying summer with the kids. Annabelle and I went strawberry picking this weekend! Such fun! I really enjoyed spending some quality one on one time with her.

Also, we are still getting over the winter flu and cold season. Yes, I know its June but if those noses don't stop running by July I don't know what I'll do.

Anyway, the skirt.  Very simple with an elastic waistband.  Took me just an afternoon to do and I am pretty proud of it! I didn't hem it because I liked the unfinished edge.

This is the second post in a series of posts in which I've challenged myself to sew and refashion a new wardrobe for only $30!

Read more about the challenge here and here.

I'll be linking up to some parties this week.  Find them here.
