Housekeeping

Happy New Year all! I hope you enjoyed your Holiday! As I look toward the future year I am excited about all the future endeavors this blog and my etsy shop has in store.  It's been quite a fun ride.

I am starting the year with a new blog design! I hope you like it! I love it! It was designed by Kayla at Letter Kay Designs.

With the new design I've decided to take on some sponsors. I'll be adding a sponsors section on my sidebar. My rate will be a low $5 a month and with your button on my sidebar I'll also do a post spotlighting your business or blog. If you are interested you may contact me at singingthreelittlebirds@gmail.com.

And lastly, the end of January marks my One Year Blog-versary! I'd like to celebrate with some great giveaways! If you'd like to host a giveaway the last week of January you may contact me at singingthreelittlebirds@gmail.com.

25 Days of Chirstmas Ornaments: Day 25

Merry Christmas!

I hope you and your family are enjoying your holiday!

Now that all the shopping, baking, crafting and wrapping is finished take a moment to remember it's not about the perfect present, the beautiful handmade ornaments or the wonderfully decorated house (although we have so much fun creating and crafting together!)but being together with your family and enjoying and loving each other.

Here's to another year of creating together!

Thank you all for linking and I hope you all had fun seeing all the ormaments but today instead of featuring I'm going to sit back and relax and enjoy my family!

Handmade Stocking Stuffers

I decided this year that I would do all handmade stocking stuffers.  If you don't know Twelve Crafts Till Christmas you should really go visit her NOW! She is making all her daughter's Christmas gifts.  I knew I wouldn't be able to do that since most of my daughter's Christmas requests have Toy Story written on them but I thought stocking stuffers would be easy!

I started thinking about these back in September.  I had a few ideas but never got around to making anything:(

I am still hoping to make a few so hopefully I'll still have time!

So I turned to Etsy.  I started trading with other Etsy sellers and I got some really fantastic handmade items for the kids and other great gifts too.

My kids love playing kitchen and with pretend food so I was able to trade with Softie Cafe. Look at this cookies. Yummy!

I also purchased a few things for the little guy.
I got this little wooden sports car from Countryside Gifts LLC.

And this car carrier from Paper From Heaven.

I also got a superhero cape, crayons, hair accesories and crayon rolls all from fabulous Etsy sellers.

Here is my Stocking Stuffers to do list:
1. plush monsters
2. felt road
3. fabric matching game

I'll let you know how I do!

This is super cute! Cupcake ornament from Danielle is Nesting.

Great use of those styrofoam balls from MaryJanes and Galoshes.

Today I am sharing a gift idea! A wine cork charm or ornament.

Materials Needed:
Wine Cork
Wire Cutters
Wire
Round Nose Pliers

Cut a strip of wire about a foot long and then bend the wire in half.

Push your wire through your cork using the hole the cork screw made when removing the cork from the wine bottle.  Use your cork screw and to make your hole bigger if necessary.

Make a loop using your round nose pliers at the bottom of your charm.

String a few beads at the top of your charm.

Mske a loop at the top of your charm and then wrap your wire back around a few times.

Attach your charm to a ribbon and gift it to your favorite wine drinking friend! Or hang it on your Christmas Tree!

For everyone stopping by I am offering a Coupon Code at Belle Rose Designs.  Enter ETSYMOM15 for 15% off all items in my shop!
