Craft Quickies: Magnet board from old art canvas

If you are anything like me you don't have a lot of time for crafting. Between kids, my busy Etsy shop and keeping up with everything else, I don't get a lot of time to craft. So, when I saw The Country Chic Cottage's call for 15 minute projects I answered her call!

I made this magnet board all with things I've had lying around. Not only fast but also uses up some stash!

Here's what you'll need:
canvas
fabric
hot glue
magnets (at least 2)

I had an old art canvas laying around and magnets I made with my rosettes. I have tons and tons of fabric.

First step is to cover the canvas with the fabric.

Lay the canvas on top of the fabric. Trim to about three inches all the way around.
Cut out the corners.

Fold fabric up and glue down all the way around.

 Next is displaying your artwork.

I used four magnets. One in front and one in back to hold on my daughter's masterpieces! We learned about Jackson Pollock (left) and Henri Matisse (right).
Now they are displayed on our wall and can be changed.

I love the rosette magnets and have been hoping to get some in the shop but haven't had a chance too. Someday soon...

I hope you find 15 minutes to craft something today! I will be sharing a couple other crafts this week here that only took me 15 minutes so I hope you'll find some inspiration.
