Sewing projects

I bet you are wondering if I've been sewing at all. If you recall from this post my challenge for 2012 was to sew something every week. I am doing pretty good. Maybe not every week but I've been practicing my hand sewing quite a bit. Working on projects like this.

I've also been helping a special little girl to sew her own flowers.

And lastly, I made a couple of these to decorate my table for my last craft show.

I made a great skirt out of Ruffle Fabric too and a few other projects in the works. Hope to share them soon!

Inspire Me Monday and a Promise

So I know I haven't been posting much. I have been sitting on a lot of posts and have been wanting to feature all the great crafters that link up and handmade business owners but I have been so busy with my own handmade business that I just haven't had time to sit down and get it down. 

But, I am making a promise that I will be posting more and doing more features, giveaways, reviews, crafts. Of course, I've made promises like this before but I've worked hard to get this blog to where it is and I feel like I've been letting down my readers. I am making it a priority to post regularly right now!

Inspire Me Monday! Happy Mother's Day!

Happy Mother's Day! I hope you all had a great day yesterday. I had a great time relaxing with my family. My day started with my son having a fit because my husband was kind enough to let me sleep in. He wanted Mommy out of bed! Nice reminder of how much I'm needed especially in the morning taking care of all those morning tasks. He then literally kicked me out of bed! Oh well, the rest of the day was nice even if I didn't get extra sleep.

Because of all the relaxing I did, I didn't get a chance to get this post up and written. I will post features later today! Promise!!

Now, my son has an early doctor's appointment before gym class. Better get in the shower!!

Inspire Me Monday: Spring Fever!

How has your Spring going? We are doing some gardening here which I am excited about. So far we have some tomato sprouts coming up and I hope to get those planted in our vegetable garden and the rest of our seeds planted this week.
